🔼 The Time Is Now. Tomorrow is game day for Villanova football! The sixth-ranked Wildcats will host No. 23 Youngstown State at 6 p.m. at Villanova Stadium. This will be a rematch of the second round of the FCS Playoffs when the Wildcats ended the Penguins season. Get your tickets if you haven’t already and wear light blue!

🏟️ For the first time, the clear bag policy is in effect so make sure you have yours! Villanova Stadium is also utilizing walkthrough metal detectors for your safety. Click here to read more about venue policies!

🔼 Miss Clean. After two straight clean sheet wins, Hannah Dickinson was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week! The win over Penn was her first solo shutout as a Wildcat. Ire Omotayo landed on the Weekly Honor Roll after being a part of the defense that allowed Penn just one shot on frame.

🔼 Preseason Praise. The BIG EAST gave out field hockey preseason conference honors this week and you’ll recognize some names! Wildcat forward Meghan Mitchell was unanimously named Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. She also earned Preseason All-BIG EAST honors along with Sabine de Ruijter. Both players have earned BIG EAST All-Conference honors in the last four seasons.

🔼 Softball In The Fall. Get a sneak peek at the reigning BIG EAST champion softball team this fall! Coach Bridget Orchard revealed the 2024 fall schedule that includes two intrasquad scrimmages and trips to Binghamton and Maryland. The Wildcats will host Drexel, Saint Joseph’s, East Stroudsburg and Lehigh.
