🔼  We’re Still Here. The men’s lacrosse team took down top-seeded Denver in an instant classic to advance to the BIG EAST Championship! The teams were tied at nine with less than 50 seconds left when Luke Raymond scored the go-ahead goal. Check it out! Villanova will move on to play Georgetown tomorrow at 5 p.m. and you can purchase tickets here.

🔼 First Year, First Team Honors. Women’s tennis player Ami Grace Dougah received First-Team BIG EAST Honors! The grad transfer led the team as the main contributor at No. 1 in doubles and singles in her first year at Villanova. She played a big part in their run into the second round of the BIG EAST Tournament.

🔼 That’s A Wrap. The women’s lacrosse team fell to No. 1 Denver in the BIG EAST Semifinal yesterday, 19-7. Sami Carey scored three goals, while Mary Moore and Ashlyn Hickey scored two a piece. Denver went on a few scoring runs of at least three goals that kept the Wildcats down. Moore led the team with five shot attempts.

🔼 Close Us Out. Villanova softball is wrapping up the regular season this weekend at home as they host Butler. Butler sits 9-12 in conference play and will be fighting for a win to advance to postseason. They’ll play a doubleheader today beginning at 2 p.m. with the second game starting at 4:30 p.m. We’ll celebrate Senior Day on Saturday before the 12:15 p.m. game, recognizing Tess Cites, Brooklyn Ostrowski, Emily Orr, Caroline Pellicano, and Alyssa Seidler. The group has won 133 games, the team’s first ever BIG EAST Championship, and appeared in six NCAA Tournament games.

🔼 Barks & Baseball. Villanova baseball will host Iona for a three-game series this weekend. The Gaels are 10-31 overall this season. Bring your furry friends for Bark in the Park today at 3 p.m. The fun will continue tomorrow at 1 p.m. as we celebrate May the Fourth Be With You. The series will conclude on Sunday with a noon matchup.
