📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Grinning Big. This week’s Big East Men’s Field Athlete of the Week is Wildcat Andrew Grinnell! He had a career best performance in the javelin at last weekend’s Virginia Challenge. He recorded a 64.85m mark to move to second on this year’s conference performance list. He’s hunting a third appearance at the NCAA East Preliminary. The track & field teams will participate at the Penn Relays today.

🔼 No More Non-Cons. The Wildcat softball dropped a midweek matchup down the road at Pennsylvania, 4-1. Brooklyn Ostrowski scored the only Wildcat run of the day with a solo home run. Ava Franz tallied a couple of singles on the day. Lilly St. Jean, Tess Cites, Elaina Wagner, and Chloe Smith hit a single a piece. Villanova will look to bounce back for a critical series at UConn this weekend.

🔷 ONE BIG THING

Smarty ‘Cats. Villanova student-athletes were honored at the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll Breakfast for earning a 3.2 term GPA or higher in Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 semesters. All 24 sports earned a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Wildcats have a 99% NCAA graduation success rate, which is top 5 in the nation. Check out the sights and sounds from the breakfast!
