🔼 Rookie Rewards. Women’s soccer rookie Morgan Kotch earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors after scoring two goals against Temple! Madison Shumate earned a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll after scoring two goals against Temple as well. Olivia Neal also made the Weekly Honor Roll, she logged two points over Temple with a team-high two assists on the week. All three Wildcats are new to the roster this season.

🔼 We Dig It. Villanova volleyball’s Abby Harrell was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team! Last season, she became the third Wildcat to win BIG EAST Freshman of the Year after ranking seventh in the conference in kills and points. She led the team with 389 kills, was second with 39 service aces and third with 256 digs.

🔼  Season’s Greetings. The men’s soccer season kicks off tomorrow! The Wildcats will host Saint Peter’s at 4 p.m. Jorge Garcia and Luke Martelli will captain the team under first-year Wildcat head coach Mark Fetrow. The roster features 12 new Wildcats, including seven freshmen.
