🔼 Road Warriors. Villanova football dominated at Colgate on Saturday, getting a 28-3 win! Connor Watkins was responsible for two passing touchdowns, both to Devin Smith, 247 passing yards and one rushing touchdown. Running back Isaiah Ragland scored his second touchdown on the ground. The Wildcats played their second straight game without a turnover. They’ll return home on Saturday for their first CAA matchup with Towson.

 🔼 Our House. Villanova volleyball dominated their home opening weekend! The Wildcats started the Villanova Classic by sweeping Loyola Maryland in straight sets. They turned around to do the same thing to Princeton on Saturday, sweeping the Tigers 3-0. The lone loss of the weekend came on Sunday afternoon when Old Dominion defeated the ‘Cats 3-1.

🔼 All Tied Up. Men’s soccer earned a 1-1 draw with Lafayette on Saturday. The Leopards scored in the first half, but Vincent Petrera fought back with a goal in the 73rd minute. Goalkeeper Alex Yagudayev recorded five saves in the draw. The Wildcats will have a break before hitting the road on Saturday at FDU.

🔼 Kept It Close. The field hockey team fell 3-2 in a close game with Drexel on Friday night. Gemma Lysaght and Colleen Finnan scored their first Wildcat goals of the season. Drexel took the lead with just over six minutes left in the game. Villanova will take the field today at 5 p.m. as they host Mercyhurst.
