🔼  More Season Ahead. The women’s lacrosse team will start their run in the BIG EAST Tournament today! They’ll take on top-ranked Denver at 1 p.m. in the semifinals. Conference awards were announced this week and the Wildcats made some waves. Mary Moore was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Year and was one of just two freshmen to make the All-BIG EAST First Team. Sydney Pappas was also named to the All-BIG EAST First Team. Sami Carey, Maddy Stoddard, and Emma Verhoest received Second Team honors.

🔼  Protect Our House. It’s time for the BIG EAST Men’s Lacrosse Semifinal! The Wildcats will take on No. 1 Denver at 5:30 p.m. at Villanova Stadium. The Wildcats are looking for their fifth trip to the conference championship. Fans can purchase tickets here! The game will also be aired live on CBS Sports Network. The men’s team brought in a good amount of BIG EAST Conference honors as well. Stephen Zupicich and Matt Licata were named All-BIG EAST First Team after lading their areas of the field this season. Reid Colwell, Stevie Jones, and Colin Michener earned Second Team honors.

🔼 Keep ‘Em Coming. The nearly world record-breaking 4xMile squad that made history at the Penn Relays earned BIG EAST Men’s Track Athletes of the Week honors. Sean Donoghue, Charlie O’Donovan, Marco Langon, and Liam Murphy were already named this week’s USTFCCCA Athletes of the Week and the conference decided to follow suit. They won Villanova’s second straight Championship of America title with the second-fastest time in world history, 15:15.91.
