🔼  Stellar Staff. The Villanova softball coaching staff was named Co-Coaching Staff of the Year by the conference! Sophomore Lilly St. Jean was a unanimous First Team All-BIG EAST selection. She held a .400 batting average through conference play. Villanova tied for a league-high with three players on the All-BIG EAST Second Team — Ava Franz, Ally Jones, and Elaina Wagner. The Wildcats will take on the winner of Seton Hall vs. St. John’s tomorrow at noon.

🔼 ‘Cats Called. We’re welcoming Lara Edmanson to the Villanova women’s basketball team! She’s a graduate student from Melbourne, Australia. The 6’0 forward transfers to Villanova from Santa Clara where she averaged 7.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game last season. She excelled in the classroom as well, earning 2023 WCC All-Academic First Team and 2024 WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.

🔼 Making Their Mark. Former Wildcat Jalen Brunson is putting up legendary numbers in the NBA Playoffs. He became the first player in NBA history with 40+ points and 5+ assists in five consecutive playoff games. He’s also scored 210 points in his last five games, the most over a five-game span in the playoffs since Michael Jordan. Former Wildcat teammate and current New York Knicks teammate Donte DiVincenzo spoke on Jalen after their win over the Indiana Pacers. Josh Hart added 24 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists in the win. The trio of Knicks players from Villanova combined for 92 points, the most ever for players from one college for one NBA team in a playoff game.
