🔼 Short Trip Ahead. Villanova baseball will head into Philly to take on Saint Joseph’s at their place today at 2 p.m. This will be the second time these two teams have met this season, the Hawks took the first meeting 12-8. Villanova holds a 42-25-4 record on the road against Saint Joseph’s. Jack O’Reilly is riding a four-game hit streak and three-game RBI streak for the ‘Cats.

🔼  Looking Back. Three Wildcats made the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team, plus a Most Outstanding Player after claiming the BIG EAST Tournament Championship. Pitcher Carolina Pellicano earned Most Outstanding Player honors after picking up two saves and a win in three appearances. Ally Jones hit two home runs in the championship game to land on the All-Tournament Team. Alyssa Seidler picked up the championship game win in the circle to also land on the team. Kelsey White hit a walk-off double in the first round, then was the winning pitcher in the semifinals to round out the Wildcats on the All-Tournament Team.

 

🔼 Keep ‘Em Comin’. The honors keep rolling in for men’s lacrosse player Stephen Zupicich. Inside Lacrosse named him Second Team All-America after his final season. He’s the 16th Wildcat to earn the honor. He finished the season leading the nation in caused turnovers with 51.
