📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Triple Take. The women’s track & field team had two student-athletes advance to the quarterfinals on their first day of the NCAA East Preliminary. Micah Trusty and Madison Martinez will race in the 800m quarterfinal tomorrow. Plus, Sadie Sigfstead punched her ticket to the NCAA Championships in the 10,000m! The men’s team will be back in action today.

🔼 Keep ‘Em Coming. The honors just keep rolling in for Stephen Zupicich of the men’s lacrosse team. He received USILA Second Team All-American honors this week. He becomes the second Wildcat to earn Second Team honors. After leading the nation with 51 turnovers, he was drafted to the Maryland Whipsnakes.

🔼 High Honor. Villanova Vice President and Athletics Director Mark Jackson has been named to the NCAA DI Men’s Basketball Committee. He will be completing the two years remaining on the term of Barry Collier, who retired last month. Villanova men’s basketball has won two national championships since Jackson took the role of Athletics Director.
