🔼 No Place Like Home. The veteran trio of Pat McQuaide, Lucas Kopecky and Luke Colella led the way as the 12th-ranked Villanova football squad kicked off its 2025 season with a 24-17 victory over visiting Colgate on Saturday night.

McQuaide finished the night 18-of-28 through the air and had 340 yards of total offense, including one each of passing and rushing touchdowns. His 41 rushing yards were a career high and his 28-yard keeper for a score in the second quarter was his longest career run.

🔼 Drive To Five. For the first time since 2009, Villanova volleyball is 5-0 to start a season as the Wildcats rolled to three wins at this year’s Villanova Classic.

The ‘Cats picked up wins over Yale (3-2), Fairfield (3-1) and High Point (3-1) on the weekend.

Campbell McKinnon was named the Tournament MVP after hitting .580 with 49 kills and 11 blocks on the weekend. Abby Harrell and Cat Young were each selected to the All-Tournament Team for their second honors in as many weeks.
