🔼 Whatever It Takes. The field hockey team pulled off a double-overtime win over William & Mary! Sabine de Ruijter scored the two Wildcat goals, including the game-winner. She now has seven multi-goal games in her career and ranks seventh in program history with 40 career goals. Meghan Mitchell assisted the game-winner and is tied for 11th in career assists.

🔼 Fell Short. Villanova football played on the road at the Big Ten’s Maryland on Saturday. The Wildcats came alive in the second half, scoring two touchdowns and two field goals in the last 23 minutes of the game. Villanova fell 38-20, but scored its highest point total in the last 10 matchups with FBS schools. Devin Smith scored a receiving touchdown, while Tanner Maddocks rushed for one.

🔼  Our House. Villanova volleyball dominated their 2024 Wildcat Challenge over the weekend. They swept both of their opponents, Temple and Rhode Island, to take the championship. Campbell McKinnon was named the Wildcat Challenge MVP after recording 18 kills and a .567 hitting percentage, plus seven blocks. Elizabeth Feczko and Alyssa Nelson also earned All-Tournament honors.

🔼 Domination Station. The women’s cross country team dominated the Main Line Invitational, producing the top five finishers. Nikki Vanasse won the race for a strong Villanova debut. Margaret Carroll, Tilly O’Connor, Rosemary Shay, and Emily Robinson finished second through fifth, respectively.

🔼 It’s A Draw. The women’s soccer team finished their BIG EAST opener against Seton Hall in a 0-0 draw. The Wildcats outshot Seton Hall 8-1. Susanna Soderman recorded all three of Villanova’s shots on goal. They’ll return to the pitch on Thursday at Creighton.
