🔼 Top-25 Showdown. For the first time in nearly a month, the 22nd-ranked Villanova Football squad returns home to Villanova Stadium and what better way to come home than for a Top-25 conference showdown.
The ‘Cats welcome Patriot League foe Colgate to town for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff as part of Family Weekend at Villanova.
Saturday’s matchup marks the ninth all-time meeting between the two schools, but first as conference opponents. Villanova has won seven straight against the Raiders, including a 24-17 victory in last year’s season-opener.

🔼 Second Helpings. Over the course of their first seven regular season games, the Villanova Wildcats had leaned on their defense while searching for offense.
On a soggy Tuesday afternoon at the Higgins Soccer Complex, they unlocked the riddle of the attack, notching four goals in a shade under 20 minutes of the second half to down Drexel 4-2.
Sam Nyenka and Luke Martelli led the offensive attack for the ‘Cats with a goal and an assist.
🔼 Tick Tock, Tick Tock. We are now under 40 days away from the return of Villanova hoops as the ‘Cats officially returned to the practice courts this week.
Both the men’s and women’s teams will square off against Notre Dame as part of the Eternal City Tip-Off event in Rome on November 1st.
