🔼 Catch The Bus. Villanova football hits the road for a game at Maryland tomorrow! You can hitch a ride on the bus that leaves at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow for $50 per person. There will be a Wildcat tailgate in Maryland beginning at 9 a.m. adjacent to Kehoe Track and Ludwig Field. Click here to register for the bus trip or the tailgate!

🏈 The Wildcats kick off at noon at SECU Stadium. Fans staying home can watch on FOX Sports.

🔼 We’re Hosting. The Wildcat field hockey team opens BIG EAST play today! They’ll host Georgetown at noon at the Conshohocken Proving Grounds. Villanova is coming off a 1-1 week, while Georgetown enters the game with a 1-4 record riding a three-game losing streak.

🏆 Sabine de Ruijter and Gemma Lysaght made the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this week.

🔼  Hoops Mania. It’s time for Hoops Mania! Villanova basketball’s signature season kickoff event will take place for current Villanova students and program guests tonight at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m. The men’s and women’s teams will be introduced and both teams will have a 3-point shoot-out alongside student groups. The men’s team will also hold an intrasquad scrimmage, followed by a dunk contest. The finale will feature a mini-concert by an artist whose identity will not be revealed until show time.

🔼 Wildcat Challenge. The volleyball team will close out non-conference play when they host the Wildcat Challenge this weekend. They’ll start things off playing Temple at 4:30 p.m. today, before Hoops Mania. Tomorrow, they’ll play either Marist or Rhode Island, depending on today’s results.

🔼 On The Pitch. The men’s soccer team will host Marquette to open BIG EAST play today at 4 p.m. Both teams are led by first-year head coaches and did not meet last season. The Wildcats have only played two regular season games at home so far. Midfielder Jason Bouregy was named to this week’s BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

The women’s soccer team also opens BIG EAST play this weekend. They’ll hit the road to Seton Hall on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match. The Wildcats are coming off a 1-1 draw at Cornell.
