🔼 Winning Weekend. Villanova field hockey put together a perfect 2-0 weekend, combining an explosive offensive performance with another dominant defensive effort.
The Wildcats opened the weekend Friday with a 9-0 victory over Queens and extended their win streak to three on Sunday with a road win over Lehigh.
Villanova has now recorded three straight shutouts and four in the last five matches as the Wildcats take plenty of momentum heading into their BIG EAST opener Friday at UConn.

🔼 On The Move. After playing last season in the NBA G-League, former Wildcat Jordan Longino announced this week that he’s headed overseas.
Longino, who played in 116 games during his Villanova career, signed with Vitória SC, which plays in the Liga Betclic Masculina, the top tier of professional basketball in Portugal.
