🔼 Worldwide Wins. The women’s basketball team is stacking up wins in Italy! On Wednesday, the Wildcats defeated ASD Basketball Sisters 82-36 in Venice. Maddie Webber led the team with 13 points and three three-pointers, adding four assists and five rebounds. They played their final game of the trip yesterday when they defeated Riga Stradins University, 91-56. Jasmine Bascoe and Ryanne Allen combined for 35 points. 🔼 Softball Scholars. Villanova softball had an incredible year on the diamond, but they were just as impressive in the classroom. The team had a top 60 team GPA in the nation with a 3.58. Additionally, 12 Wildcats were named NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes — Tess Cites, Kat Gallant, Elizabeth Gray, Ally Jones, Emily Orr, Madison Ostrowski, Caroline Pellicano, Victoria Sebastian, Chloe Smith, Lilly St. Jean, Elaina Wagner, and Kelsey White.

🔼 Best In Class. The field hockey team has earned the BIG EAST Team Academic Excellence Award! The award goes to the team that leads the conference in GPA in their respective sport. The Wildcats posted the highest team GPA with a 3.709. This is the second time in three years Villanova has received the award. Field hockey season is just right around the corner!
