The Wildcats have earned a No. 6 spot in the Stats Perform FCS Preseason Top 25 Poll, plus they return five starters from the 2023 team on each side of the ball. Football will be here in just 22 days!

🔼 One-Of-A-Kind. Villanova women’s track & field star Roschell Clayton was named one of two BIG EAST nominees for the 2024 NCAA Woman of the Year award! The award honors the academic achievements, athletics excellence, community service and leadership of graduating female college athletes. This is the second time in the last three years that a Wildcat has been nominated for the honor.

🔼 Bronze For Sash. Villanova incoming freshman Alexander Gavalyugov helped Bulgaria win bronze at the FIBA U18 Eurobasket Division B! The team was promoted to Division A for the FIBA European Championships. ‘Sash’ was named to the All-Tournament Five after averaging 19.4 points, 8.4 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game.

🔼 ‘Cats On Tour. The women’s basketball team played their first international game of their Italy tour! They took on the Spanish All Star Team in Florence on Monday. Despite falling 65-55, the Wildcats had a memorable experience playing together as a new group. Maddie Webber and Bronagh Power-Cassidy scored 12 points each, while Jasmine Bascoe and Denae Carter took five rebounds each. Read all about their journey in Italy here!
