🔼 Start Strong. Villanova football started the season with a win! The sixth-ranked Wildcats took down No. 25 Youngstown State, 24-17. Quarterback Connor Watkins rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns in the win. The Wildcat defense forced three turnovers. Villanova has won eight straight season openers.

🔼 Road Win. The women’s soccer team started their Florida trip with a win! The Wildcats defeated Jacksonville, 1-0 last night. Madison Shumate scored the lone goal of the game in the 65th minute. The win marks the third-straight clean sheet for the Wildcats.

⚽️ Up next, they’ll face top-ranked Florida State on Sunday at noon.

🔼 Hit The Road, ‘Cats. The men’s soccer team remains on the road today as they play at Michigan State. Spend your lunchtime watching the Wildcats on B1G+ as they kick off at 11 a.m. Both teams enter the match with a 0-1-1 overall record.

🔼 Run It. Men’s cross country season gets started today as they race at the Temple Owl XC Invitational! The team came in at No. 17 in the national rankings this week. Both men’s and women’s cross country schedules just dropped, take a look.

🔼  Catholic Challenge. Villanova volleyball is getting the season started in California! They’ll play in the Catholic Challenge at Santa Clara this weekend. Tonight, they’ll play the Broncos at 7 p.m. They’ll finish the tournament tomorrow as they face Notre Dame at 4 p.m. Fans can watch live on ESPN+.
