🔼 Starting Somewhere. The Villanova women’s soccer season started last night! The Wildcats fell to James Madison, 3-0. Megan Donnelly led the ‘Cats with two shots on goal, but they were outshot 12-7.

⚽️ Up next, the Wildcats will take on Temple at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Higgins Soccer Complex.

🔼 Stars & Stripes. Two former Wildcats have been selected to represent the United States. TJ Comizio and Connor Kirst have been named to the U.S. Men’s Box Lacrosse roster for the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships. The tournament will take place from September 20-29 in Utica, New York.

The pair were teammates at Villanova from 2017-19. They last played together in 2021-22 with the Georgia Swarm of the National Lacrosse League. Comizio is still with the Swarm, while Kirst plays for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs and the Boston Cannons of the Premier Lacrosse League.
