Good morning, Nova Nation! Villanova University has unveiled the designs for The Cavanaugh Family Boathouse—the new home of Villanova Rowing. Construction on this first-class home along the Schuylkill River in Conshohocken, Pa., is to begin in Spring 2025, with a projected opening date set for Spring of 2026.

The new Villanova Rowing facility will feature locker rooms for student-athletes and coaches, offices, a video room, a strength and conditioning space, and a fueling station.

“Vice President and Director of Athletics Mark Jackson weighed in on the project, noting, “‘The new boathouse will finally reflect the caliber and prestige of our Rowing program.”
