🔼 Coming Home. A pair of Wildcats' legends are bringing their popular The Roommates Show podcast to the venue where they first teamed up. New York Knicks standouts Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart will host their podcast at Finneran Pavilion on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.

The event is open to the public and will serve as the official 2025-26 kickoff for the Villanova Men's and Women's Basketball seasons.

🔼 No Soup For You. The Villanova women’s soccer team posted its second straight shutout on Thursday, using two second half goals to roll past visiting George Mason, 2-0. The ‘Cats got goals from Morgan Kotch (66th minute) and Avrie Nelsen (84th minute), while the Villanova defense held the Patriots to just two shots in the entire game.

🔼 Rampin’ It Up. The fall action ramps up even more for the Wildcats with four more teams joining the fun this weekend.

Getting things started today, the field hockey team opens its 2025 slate this afternoon at 3 pm against James Madison on the campus at the University of Maryland.

Both cross country squads hit the course this evening with the women competing at the Temple Invitational and the men lacing them up at the Lehigh Invitational.

Tomorrow, the volleyball team opens their fall schedule when they participate in the Catholic Challenge at Notre Dame, first taking taking on Santa Clara tomorrow afternoon.

🔼 All Tied Up. Playing against a conference favorite, the Villanova men’s soccer team stayed unbeaten, picking up a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Iona on a beautiful Thursday afternoon at Higgins Soccer Complex.

The ‘Cats are right back at Higgins on Monday for a Philly Six Labor Day showdown with Saint Joe’s. Kickoff is set for 12 pm.

🔼 Power Pair. Before even stepping on the field this afternoon in Maryland for their season opener, Villanova field hockey standouts Ava Borkowski and Gemma Lysaght earned some accolades.

Earlier this week, the duo was selected to the preseason All-BIG EAST Team. Borkowski and Lysaght are no strangers to the spotlight. They both started all 17 games for the Wildcats a season ago and led the team to 10-7 record, leading both to the preseason All-BIG EAST Team.

🔼 Court Is In Session. Joining the fall fun in a few weeks will be the Villanova men’s tennis program, which unveiled its full fall slate earlier this week.
