🔷 And much more!

Tommy’s Tavern + Tap is proud to be an Official Partner of Villanova Athletics!

🔼 Gameday Is Here. The 129th season of Villanova Football is officially here.

The seventh-ranked Wildcats are set to make their Patriot League debut in tonight’s conference showdown with longtime rival, William & Mary.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.

🔼 Game Changer. Villanova University is proud to announce a $1 million gift from Stephen Curry '99 VSB to endow the first-ever non-head coaching position in Villanova Athletics. This leadership gift will endow Villanova Football's defensive coordinator position and provide funding to support the program.

In honor of the gift and the support this fund will provide to the defensive coordinator, it will be named the Steve Curry '99 Defensive Coordinator Endowed Fund. The gift will also provide flexible financial support for the Villanova Football program as the team sustains its incredible momentum—both on and off the field.

Curry was a linebacker at Villanova where he played from 1996-1998.

🔼 Lock ‘Em In. Earlier this week it was the women’s team, now it’s men’s squad, who unveiled its 2026-27 non-conference schedule this week.

The loaded slate is highlighted by a season-opening matchup against Notre Dame in Rome, Italy, as part of the Eternal City Tipoff.

The Wildcats will play 12 non-conference games, including nine in the Philadelphia area.

🔼 So Fresh, So Clean. Another day. Another shutout.

For the third consecutive match to start the 2026 season, the Villanova women’s soccer team recorded a clean sheet, picking up a 2-0 road victory at Columbia on Thursday evening to improve to 2-0-1 to start the year.

The ‘Cats have yet to allow a goal this season after Hannah Dickinson recorded three saves on the night. Ambyr Baker and Avrie Nelsen provided the offense on the night for Villanova.

Field hockey gets things started this afternoon taking on Delaware on Drexel’s campus, while men’s soccer makes the short trip to Princeton to battle the Tigers.

Volleyball heads west to Malibu for three matches at the Asics Classic, beginning Friday night against host Pepperdine before facing Sacramento State on Saturday and South Dakota State on Sunday.

The weekend wraps up back on the Main Line, where women’s soccer welcomes Iona to Higgins Soccer Complex for a Sunday afternoon matchup at 4 p.m.
