🔼 Single Digits! We are now just 7️⃣ days away from kickoff for the 2026 Villanova Football season.
The Wildcat offense put up 7️⃣ points on 57 different occasions last fall, averaging over 31 points per game against FCS opponents in 2025.
Villanova had 27 rushing touchdowns, 27 passing touchdowns, two special teams TDs and one defensive touchdown last season.
🔼 Raising The Bar. After three consecutive seasons culminating in BIG EAST postseason appearances, Villanova volleyball earned its highest finish ever in the 2026 BIG EAST Preseason Coaches’ Poll, as the ‘Cats were picked to finish second in this year’s poll.
Senior outside hitter Abby Harrell was selected as the BIG EAST Preseason Player of the Year, becoming the first Wildcat in program history to earn the preseason honor. Harrell and junior middle blocker Campbell McKinnon were also named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.

🔼 Rollin’ With The Roomies. With the help of his two of his roommates, sophomore midfielder Luca Mazzola made sure Villanova began the 2026 regular season on a winning note.
Mazzola’s goal in the 75th minute helped lift the Wildcats past Temple 1-0 in a Philly Soccer Six match played Thursday afternoon.
🔼 Preseason Praise. With one week left before her final collegiate season, Villanova field hockey standout Ava Borkowski will enter the 2026 season with high expectations.
This week, the Conshohocken native was named the named Preseason BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year and earned her second straight nod to the preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
🔼 Young Guns. Before even stepping onto the field for the Villanova Lacrosse program, a pair of incoming Wildcats have already earned national recognition.
This week, Devin Paccione (#81) and Parker Smith (#91) were both named in Nike Lacrosse/Inside Lacrosse's rankings of the top 100 incoming freshmen.
🔼 All New Action. In advance of what is sure to be another exciting season of Wildcats Football, Villanova Athletics has announced several new activities and game day experiences for fans of all ages in 2026 that begin hours before kickoff and continue throughout the game.
