Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Villanova Football this fall. The Wildcats will
host William & Mary on Friday, August 28 at 6 p.m.
🔼 Two Weeks Away! We are now just 1️⃣4️⃣ days away from kickoff for the 2026 Villanova Football season.
During last year’s run to the FCS Semifinals, a stalwart defensive effort and late-game heroics led the ‘Cats to a thrilling 1️⃣4️⃣-7 victory over a previously undefeated Lehigh team to advance to the FCS Quarterfinals.
With under three minutes remaining and the game tied at seven, veteran QB Pat McQuaid connected on a 28-yard TD with Braden Reed for the decisive score and send the ‘Cats into the quarterfinals for the third time in five seasons.
🔼 Eyes On Us. After earning 20 wins for the first time since 2019, the Villanova Volleyball squad is looking for even more success with the start of its 2026 campaign just a few weeks away.
The ‘Cats will enter that season with eyes on them as they earned votes in the Preseason Top-25 Poll released this week.
🔼 Point Taken. The Villanova women’s soccer team got the 2026-27 athletic calendar underway on Thursday night, earning a scoreless draw on the road against former BIG EAST foe, Syracuse.
Hannah Dickinson and the ‘Cats defense kept the Orange off the board, allowing just five shots on the night. It is Dickinson’s 15th career shutout.
🔼 Lock ‘Em In. With the season opener two weeks away, veteran head coach Joanie Milhous has unveiled the full 2026 slate of games for the Villanova Field Hockey program.
The 'Cats will play their seven home games this season at Snell Field Hockey Field at Ursinus as their new field hockey complex at Villanova's Cabrini Campus continues to be worked on.
