👏 A New Era
🔷 And much more!

Tommy’s Tavern + Tap is proud to be an Official Partner of Villanova Athletics!

🔼 Let The Games Begin. For the first time in 288 days (not that we’ve been counting or anything), the Villanova women’s soccer squad will step on the pitch tomorrow night for the 2026 season opener.

The ‘Cats will hit the road and take on former conference foe, Syracuse, in a 7 pm showdown.

It will be the first official contest of the 2026-27 athletic calendar for Villanova Athletics.

Women’s Soccer will play their first home game of the 2026 season on Sunday, August 30th.

Who do the ‘Cats play in their home opener?

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Villanova Football this fall. The Wildcats will
host William & Mary on Friday, August 28 at 6 p.m.

🔼 Countin’ Down. We are now just 1️⃣6️⃣ days away from kickoff for the 2026 Villanova Football season.

During last year’s run to the FCS Semifinals, a tenacious defense was a staple for the ‘Cats, limiting opponents to under 21 points a game last season.

That defense racked up 79 tackles behind the line of scrimmage with 1️⃣6️⃣ different ‘Cats tallying at least one TFL last season.

Leading the way was All-American Shane Hartzell with 19.5.

SeatGeek is the Official Ticket Marketplace of Villanova Athletics. So whether you’re buying or selling tickets to Wildcats games or other events, SeatGeek is the number one destination for all of your ticketing needs.

🔼 A New Era. The future of the BIG EAST now has a new leader.

This week, Tim Brosnan - a highly-successful executive with decades of experience in sports, business, and media - was named the sixth Commissioner of the BIG EAST Conference. The former Georgetown student-athlete succeeds Val Ackerman, who announced her retirement this past April, and will begin his tenure on Sept. 1, 2026.
