The Villanova men’s hoops program announced two showdowns for the upcoming 2025-26 season, beginning with a Oct. 24th exhibition game against UVA and the unveiling of a home-and-home series with Pitt, which will begin this December at Finneran Pavilion.

🔼 In Good Company. With training camp getting underway this week, the ‘Cats already have some eyes on them.
This week, Shane Hartzell joined the watch list party as he was recognized as a member of the Buck Buchanan Defensive Player of the Year Watch List.
Last season, Hartzell was named to the CAA Football First Team Defense, when he led the Wildcats with five sacks and recorded a team-high 67 solo tackles. He wound up second on the team with 121 total tackles and 9.5 tackles for loss.
He reached double digits in tackles four times during the season and had seven or more stops 10 times in 14 games.
