🔼 What A Run. On Tuesday, Villanova legend Kyle Lowry officially called it a career, announcing his retirement from the NBA.

Lowry — one of 12 players in NBA history to play 20 seasons in the league — ceremonially signed a one-day contract with the Raptors so he could end his career as part of the franchise that he helped lead to the 2019 NBA championship.

🔼 A New Era. This week, a new era of Villanova men’s tennis officially got underway with the announcement of Eduardo Ugalde as the program’s new head coach.

Ugalde comes to Villanova after serving as interim head coach at Yale University for the past two years, where he guided the Bulldogs to one of the most successful campaigns in program history.

During the 2025-26 season, Ugalde led Yale to a historic campaign that culminated in the Bulldogs earning an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament which was the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1977. Yale finished with 16 victories, its highest win total since the 2016-17 season, and climbed to No. 45 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings.
