🔼 Sneak Peek. It may still be July, but November will be here before we know it.
On Monday, the Villanova men’s hoops team gave fans and media a bit of a sneak peek of what’s to come at its annual “Summer Jam” Open Practice session.
After the action, Coach Willard stepped behind the mics to talk about the event and what summer has looked like for the Wildcats

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Villanova Football this fall. The Wildcats will
host William & Mary on Friday, August 28 at 6 p.m.
🔼 Countin’ Down. We are now just 3️⃣0️⃣ days away from kickoff for the 2026 Villanova Football season.
Last November, the Wildcats capped off their incredible run in the CAA with a unforgettable overtime win over Stony Brook when Pat McQuaid connected with Antonio Johnson to deliver a 3️⃣0️⃣-27 victory over the Seawolves in Villanova’s final regular season game as a member of the CAA.
The memorable contest had three lead changes in the fourth quarter and was not decided until the last of a combined 134 offensive snaps by the two teams.

How many touchdown passes throw for in the OT victory over Stony Brook?
Got a guess?

🔼 Head Of The Class. Each year, the BIG EAST recognizes one team in each sport with a Team Academic Excellence Award.
This year, Villanova had two programs honored with the women’s lacrosse and women’s basketball programs both earning the distinction.
The awards are presented annually to the team in each conference-sponsored sport that records the highest cumulative grade-point average. Team GPAs are calculated using every student-athlete listed on an institution's official roster at the conclusion of the championship segment in each sport.
