🔼 Three’s A Crowd. Villanova football ranked third in the CAA Football Preseason Ranking! Additionally, Jake Picard, Shane Hartzell, David Avit and Obinna Nwobodo earned CAA Preseason All-Conference honors. Stephane Voltaire and Zahmir Dawud were named honorable mention. Kickoff against Colgate is just 43 days away!

🔼  Smart Squad. The women’s lacrosse team was named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad! They received this honor for maintaining a GPA of 3.2 or higher throughout the year. Additionally, 12 Wildcats were named to the DI Academic Honor Roll — Sami Carey, Cate Gallagher, Gabriella Henson-Vendrell, Isabella Henson-Vendrell, Lindsay Kupka, Meghan Lowe, Quinn McKiernan, Kate Montalto, Sydney Pappas, Megan Reilly, Georgia Sobocinski and Juliet Walls.

🔼 Record Setters. Wildcat water polo placed a program-record 19 ‘Cats on the MAAC Academic Honor Roll! The previous record was 17. To be eligible, student-athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

🏀 MEET THE ‘CATS

Meet Wildcat women’s basketball guard MD Ntambue! She is a freshman from Montreal, Canada where she attended Crestwood Prep School. She earned First Team All-Star OSBA, Second Team All-Star WNPA, RSEQ First Team All-Star honors and won the Nike Tournament of Champions.
