🔼 Eyes On Us. A heralded offseason for junior running back and kick returner Ja'briel Mace continued this week as he was named to the 2027 East-West Shrine Bowl 1000, which highlights the Top 1,000 NFL Draft prospects ahead of the 2026 college football season.
Mace is one of only 41 FCS prospects and just three representatives from the Patriot League on this year's list.
The Shriners Children's East-West Bowl takes place in Arlington, Texas on February 4, 2027 and gives players the opportunity to showcase their talents to NFL coaches and have access to NFL-level resources prior to the NFL Draft.

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Villanova Football this fall. The Wildcats will
host William & Mary on Friday, August 28 at 6 p.m.
🔼 Countin’ Down. We are now just 3️⃣5️⃣ days away from kickoff for the 2026 Villanova Football season.
Wearing #3️⃣5️⃣ this fall for the Wildcats will be a name to watch - Langston White.
The sophomore linebacker from Bristow, Va., made his collegiate debut last season in the win over Hampton and had a dominant offseason ahead of the upcoming 2026 campaign.
At 6-2, 215-pounds, White is a physical force in the middle of the ‘Cats defense as he was a two-time All-State and All-Region honoree at Brentsville High School.

🔼 Head Of The Class. This week, Villanova women's lacrosse was commended for its academic prowess, picking up multiple awards from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
The program was selected as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the sixth straight year and 16th time overall. Individually, 11 Wildcats were selected for the Division I Academic Honor Roll, eligible for the honor by achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in their junior or senior year.

🔼 Smarty Cats. The only two Villanova sports that competed in the CAA for the 2025-26 academic year were named winners of the league's Team Academic Excellence Awards. The ‘Cats were represented by both football and rowing for the sixth time in the decade that the award has been presented.
The Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes the institution with the highest collective grade point average in all 22 sports sponsored by the CAA. Despite only competing in the CAA in football and rowing, Villanova is one of five conference schools to have multiple teams earn an award this year.
