🔼 All-Around Excellence. The CAA announced its Team Academic Excellence Awards for last season, and both Villanova teams that compete in the conference made the list! Villanova football and rowing each earned the distinction for the fifth time; the award honors the schools with the highest collective GPA average across all of the CAA’s sports.

🔼 Welcome Aboard. It’s time to get to know some new Wildcats! Isabelle Chukwu, a native of Canada, previously played at Brown before landing with Villanova women’s soccer. On Chukwu, Coach Samar Azem said: “Isabelle’s mind and vision for the game are extremely impressive. Coupled with her athletic ability, she will bring a lethal force to our front line.”

🔼 Crossing Coasts. Meanwhile, defender Bella Panaccione heads to Villanova women’s soccer from Santa Clara University. Coach Azem said Panaccione is a “tough competitor and gritty defender and will be a handful for teams to try to break down.”
