🔼 See Ya At The Shore. An annual tradition unlike any other, the Wildcats invade Ocean City.

This week, the Villanova football announced its summer trip to the shore for Wednesday, August 12th.

Beginning at 11 a.m., the ‘Cats will hit the field for a free admission, open practice for all fans at Ocean City High School.

Following the practice, the team will head to Ocean City Music Pier for an open autograph session from 1:30-2:30 p.m.

🔼 Countin’ Down. Tick tock, tick tock, before we know it the Wildcats will be hitting the gridiron in preparation for this fall.

We are just 65 days away from the season opener against William & Mary on Friday, August 28th.

This past fall, junior wide receiver Chris Colby had a bit of a breakout season, including being a part of the longest pass play of the season in a home victory over Hampton on October 18th.

Less than 10 minutes into the game, Colby hauled in a pass from Pat McQuaid and scampered 6️⃣5️⃣ yards down the field for a first quarter TD to push Villanova’s lead to 14-0, which paved the way for a dominant 56-14 rout of the Pirates.

In his two seasons at Villanova, how many receptions has Chris Colby hauled in for the Wildcats?

🔼 Head Of The Class. This week, a pair of Villanova lacrosse players earned PhillySIDA Academic All-Area accolades with men's lacrosse attackman Luke Raymond and women's lacrosse draw control specialist Emma Verhoest each picking up the honor.

It's the first time either player has been recognized on this list, which is voted on by 30 schools in the Philadelphia region. Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or better and be in at least their second year at their current institution.
