🔼  Double Down. Wildcat men’s track & field runners Liam Murphy and Marco Langon booked their return trips to Oregon for the NCAA Championships! Murphy qualified for the 1500m after finishing fourth in his heat, while Langon qualified for the 5000m after winning the first semifinal heat at the NCAA East Preliminary.

🔼 Punching Tickets. On the women’s side of the track & field team, Sadie Sigfstead punched her second ticket to the NCAA Championships as she ran one of the best races of her career on Saturday night. She ran the fourth-fastest 5000m time in school history to advance. She became the first Villanova athlete in six years to qualify for the outdoor NCAA Championships in two events.

🔼  Memorable Season. Water polo’s Riley Hull earned ACWPC DI All-America Honorable Mention honors! She becomes just the second Wildcat to receive All-America honors. This honor goes along with her MAAC Rookie of the Year and All-MAAC Second Team accolades. She broke the freshman goal-scoring record this season, scoring 81 times.
