🔼 Party Like Its 1999. The trio wasn’t even in elementary school the last time the New York Knicks played in the NBA Finals.

Now, the former Wildcat group of Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges and Josh Hart have brought the Knicks back after a dominant sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Brunson was named the Eastern Conference Finals MVP after averaging 25.5 points and 7.8 assists per game in the four-game series.

🔼 Punchin’ Tickets. All eyes will be on Lexington, Ky. this week as Villanova sends 15 student-athletes to the NCAA East First Round competition at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track & Field Complex. The meet begins today and runs through Saturdayruns, and will determine the qualifiers for the 2026 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships which take place in Eugene, Ore. next month.

The contingent of Wildcats competing at the NCAA East First Round includes eight men's athletes and seven women's athletes. Seven of the team's 15 qualifiers will be competing at the meet for the first time in their careers, while the other eight have combined to make 14 previous appearances in the preliminary rounds of the national championships.

🔼 Winning Ways. The Nova Knicks weren’t the only former Wildcats bringing home hardware this week as former women’s soccer standout Jackie Richards and her Hearts Women FC teammates were crowned champions of the Scottish Women’s Premier League.
