🔼 Eye On The Prize. Tomorrow, it’s showtime for the Villanova Track & Field program.

The ‘Cats are set to lace ‘em up at the 2026 BIG EAST Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Storrs, Conn. this week.

Thursday will see most of the field athletes in action, while Friday will mostly consist of prelims action on the track. Saturday will be jam-packed with finals throughout the day.

Villanova men’s lacrosse standout Jack Shoemaker wrapped up his career this spring with 75 caused turnovers during his time with the ‘Cats.

Where does that rank all-time in program history?

Got a guess?

Scroll to the bottom to see if you know your stuff!

🔼 On The Hunt. There’s another set of ‘Cats title hunting this week as the Villanova rowing squad hits the water on the Cooper River to battle at the 2026 CAA Championships.

Racing is set to begin Saturday morning in Pennsauken.

🔼 Breakin’ Out. The season may be three months away, but redshirt sophomore Amalia Cardo is already garnering attention.

Last fall, Cardo piled up two goals and three assists for the ‘Cats in the first eight games before being forced to miss the rest of the season due to an injury.

Next fall, the New Rochelle, N.Y. is ready to break out and is primed to do so according to Top Drawer Soccer. The publication recognized Cardo as the BIG EAST’s top breakout candidates for the 2026 season.
