🔼 All-American Play. Men’s lacrosse player Tyler Sandoval was named a USA Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention! He recorded the seventh-best faceoff percentage in a single season for a Wildcat. This is the fifth-straight season a Wildcat has made the list.

🔼 New ‘Cats On The Block. Villanova men’s basketball has signed four new Wildcats for the 2025-26 season!
Devin Askew - 6’5 guard who transfers from Long Beach State. He averaged 18.9 points and 4.5 assists per game.
Duke Brennan - 6’10 forward who transfers from Grand Canyon. He was named Second Team All-WAC after averaging 10.9 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.
Malcolm Flaggs - 6’6 guard who also transfers from Grand Canyon. He played in 11 games last season.
Zion Stanford - 6’6 guard who transfers from Temple. He averaged 13.1 points and 4.5 rebounds in 31 games for the Owls. He was named AAC All-Freshman in the 2023-24 season.

🔼 Three Cheers. Villanova volleyball also added some new ‘Cats to the program! Ava Mehrten signs as a graduate transfer from UC Berkeley, where she totaled 136 kills, 94 blocks and 186 points in her career. Emma Vu is also a graduate transfer, coming from Iona University, where she played three seasons as a setter. She totaled 921 assists, 47 aces, 27 kills, 296 digs, and five blocks. Marikate Ritterbusch signs as a freshman from Palatine, Illinois.

🔼 Saturday Split. Villanova baseball split Saturday’s doubleheader at St. John’s with a win in game one and a loss in game two. JoJo Montgomery hit his first career home run to tie game one before the Wildcats ran away with it, winning 7-5. Villanova dropped the series with a loss on Sunday.
The Wildcats will host Saint Joseph’s tomorrow at 3:25 p.m.
