🔼 They Swung For the Fences. The lineup came alive for Villanova softball on Sunday afternoon as the Wildcats totaled a season-best 15 hits in an 11-2 victory over Boston College at Harrington Athletics Village. Brooklyn Ostrowski contributed a four-hit game for Villanova (18-17-1), the first of her career and the program's first since 2023.

🔼 Home is Where the Dubs Are. Water Polo was able to fend off the RV Iona Gaels by a score of 16-14 to conclude the first day of their home MAAC weekend undefeated and stay unbeaten in their nine games at home in 2025. The 'Cats held off a 6-2 run that extended over the span of six minutes between the third and fourth quarters to capture a win on Senior Night. The team’s nine home wins this season break a record for most in a season; the former mark was eight, set in 2000 and matched in 2024.
Women's Water Polo closed out their home MAAC Weekend on Sunday by defeating La Salle by a score of 11-5. This was their second consecutive defeat of the Explorers and third in their last four meetings.

🔼 Squad Goals. Villanova Men's Lacrosse (5-5, 2-0) finished out their two-game road trip to start BIG EAST play by picking up their third consecutive win, taking down the Providence Friars (4-7, 0-2) by a score of 11-8. Villanova now sits at the top of the BIG EAST standings with Georgetown at 2-0. Colin Michener starred on offense yet again for Villanova, scoring four goals on the day.
