🔼 Staying Perfect. Playing at home for the first time in nearly a month, the Villanova men’s lacrosse team defended its turf with a hard-fought 9-7 defeat of 20th-ranked Denver to stay a perfect 2-0 in league play.

The specialists powered the 'Cats on Saturday afternoon as Anthony Wilson made 11 saves between the pipes for Villanova, continuing his hot streak against the Pioneers with double-digit saves all three times he's played them. George Glomb won 13 faceoffs on the day with seven ground balls of his own and Jake Melchionni contributed a game-high three caused turnovers.

Luke Raymond led the way for the 'Cats offensively with four points on a hat trick and an assist while Colin Michener (two goals), David Link and Lachlan Moffatt (each a goal and helper) all added multi-point days.

🔼 Record Runner. Junior distance standout Bailey Habler highlighted a busy weekend for the Villanova track & field squad, who competed in two meets in two different states.

At the Sam Howell Invitational in Princeton, Habler finished first in the 1500m with a meet record of 3:42.30, while grad student Tristan Bolinsky notched his fourth top-10 mark in school history in the hammer throw.
