🔼  Semi Saturday. The Wildcat men’s basketball team has advanced to the College Basketball Crown semifinal! They defeated USC 60-59 last night with Eric Dixon leading the way with 28 points. Wooga Poplar added 16 points with seven rebounds. Villanova will play UCF tomorrow at 4 p.m. on FOX.

🔼  BIG Weekend. Villanova baseball begins BIG EAST play this weekend! They’ll host Georgetown for a three-game series. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. today, all three games will stream on FloSports. Outfielder Austin Lemon has reached base in all 21 games he has appeared in. Jake Francis and John Freitag both earned BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll nods this week.

🔼 Traveling ‘Cats. Wildcat softball is headed to Brighton, Massachusetts to take on Boston College and Army this weekend! They’re coming off their first tie since 2018, as Wednesday’s game against Penn was called at 12-12. They’ll play Army today at 11 a.m., then Boston College at 4 p.m. On Sunday, they’ll play BC in a doubleheader, starting at 11 a.m.

🔼  Academic All-Stars. Villanova placed six on the CSC Academic All-District team! Patrick Hemingway, Nick Jubilee, Anna Farley, Arabella Lee, Justin Nowicki and Meghan Tiernan earned the academic honors. Farley, Jubilee and Lee were selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists and will advance to the national ballot.
