🔼  Under The Lights. Villanova softball run-ruled Towson 16-0 in the first ever home game under the lights! The Wildcats scored 11 runs and three home runs in the third inning, courtesy of Grace Reed twice and one from Brooklyn Ostrowski. The 16 runs are a season-high for Villanova.

This season, dlivrd partnered with Villanova men’s and women’s basketball to deliver a difference. For every home three-pointer made, dlivrd planted a grove of trees — and with 294 threes, that’s over 4,700 trees planted! ✌️ 🌳

🔼 Walk It Out. Villanova baseball beat Bucknell 11-1 in just seven innings yesterday. The Wildcats tied a season-high with 15 walks. JoJo Montgomery led the team with two hits and a career-high three RBI. Michael Whooley and Brayden Leonard each drew three walks.

🔼 Double Trouble. Two men’s lacrosse players earned BIG EAST honors this week! Matt Licata was named the Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a career-high five goals in his final career regular season game at Villanova Stadium. Jake Melchionni earned Specialist of the Week honors after filling the stat sheet. He scored two goals, caused two turnovers and scooped up two ground balls.

The Wildcats were ranked No. 19 in both the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll this week.

🔼  Smarty ‘Cats. The swim & dive team placed three on the 2024-25 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area lists! Anna Farley, Nick Jubilee and Justin Nowicki earned selections to mark the 15th-straight season that Villanova has had at least three Wildcats on the lists.
