🔼  That’s A Wrap. The women’s tennis team closed the season in the BIG EAST Championship game. They finished second in the tournament after falling to Xavier in the final. They defeated DePaul on Friday, then defeated top-seeded UConn in the semifinals on Saturday. It was the first time in program history that the Wildcats played in the title match.

🔼 Senior Day To Remember. Villanova’s men’s lacrosse team defeated Marquette 14-13 in a thrilling game on Senior Day! Matt Licata led the Wildcats with five goals, including the game-tying goal with 120 seconds left. Luke Raymond scored the winning goal with 1:30 remaining, securing Villanova’s fourth straight conference win and fifth overall. The Wildcats have clinched a spot in the BIG EAST Tournament, locked into the top two seeds.

🔼 New Record Holder. Women’s lacrosse senior Sami Carey broke the program record for assists! She recorded three in Villanova’s 15-10 loss to Richmond, putting her at 114 total assists. She breaks Katie Comerford’s 111 assist-record.

🔼  Follow The Leader. There’s a new BIG EAST leader in the women’s 100m hurdles this season and it’s Villanova’s Ajanae Thompson! She recorded a personal best time of 13.60 at the Virginia Challenge, breaking into the all-time top-10 Wildcat performance list.
