🔼  History Made. The men’s basketball team saw competition for the first time since the BIG EAST Tournament last night! They defeated Colorado 85-64 in the College Basketball Crown Tournament. Eric Dixon became Villanova’s all-time points leader as he scored 22 to go with four steals and three rebounds. Interim head coach Mike Nardi recorded his first win as a head coach. The Wildcats will play USC tomorrow at 9:30 p.m. ET on FS1.

🔼 Fell Short. Villanova baseball fell to Rider 11-1 in a Liberty Bell Classic semifinal matchup. Jake McElroy got one run back in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI single, but it wasn’t enough. Austin Lemon extended his on-base streak to 21 games. The Wildcats will play Georgetown this weekend.

🔼 Big Three. Three men’s lacrosse players earned BIG EAST weekly honors for the second-straight week! Beau Kemler was named Defensive Player of the Week after scooping up a career-high 10 ground balls and causing three turnovers in the win at Denver. Tyler Sandoval earned Specialist of the Week after picking up six ground balls and winning the faceoff battle to start overtime, leading to the game-winning goal. Colin Michener scored that game-winning goal, tallying two goals and three assists in the win. He made the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

🔼  Midweek Mash. Villanova softball is home for a midweek matchup! They’ll host Penn today at 4 p.m. for the UNITAS game. Fans at home can watch on FloSoftball. The Wildcats are an even 16-16 overall, while the Quakers sit 2-23.
