🔼  Looking To Bounce Back. Villanova baseball lost to Xavier 13-3 in last night’s series opener. Brayden Leonard went 3-for-4, while John Freitag and Josue Valdez contributed RBIs.

The series will continue today at 3 p.m. and conclude at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Enjoy the Federal Donuts and Chicken Food Truck all weekend! Plus, tomorrow is Youth Day. Fans can enjoy free parking and admission, post-game autographs and run the bases, and ice cream truck and meet Will D. Cat!

🔼 Just Short. Villanova softball lost to Butler 3-2 in the first game of the three-game series. Ava Mahnken led the team with two hits and two runs scored, while Kat Gallant pitched six innings, allowing one earned run and striking out three. The series will continue with a doubleheader today beginning at 2 p.m.

🔼 Quarterfinal Friday. The men’s tennis team starts its BIG EAST Championship run today! They’ll take on No. 1 St. John’s at 12:45 p.m. in Cayce, South Carolina.

The women’s tennis team plays DePaul at 12:45 p.m. They enter the tournament ranked fourth in the conference. The Wildcats defeated DePaul 4-3 earlier this month.

🔼  It’s A Celebration. Tomorrow is Senior Day for the men’s lacrosse team! They’ll host Marquette at noon, presented by Main Line Health. It’s also Fan Appreciation Day, so fans in attendance can participate in special giveaways!

The women’s lacrosse team will play Richmond tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Tierney Field, the USA Lacrosse Headquarters!
