🔼  Hot Streak. The men’s lacrosse team picked up their fourth-straight win on Saturday! They defeated St. John’s 10-7 to improve to 3-0 in BIG EAST play for the first time since 2013. The Michener brothers tallied six points for the Wildcat offense. They’ll play Marquette on Saturday at noon for Senior Day.

🔼 Sweep Victory. Wildcat softball swept DePaul over the weekend! They took game one 2-0 behind a 3-for-3 day from Ava Franz. They went on to win both games of Sunday’s doubleheader, 8-0 and 11-1, respectively. There were 24 hits and seven home runs combined for the Wildcats. Lexi Kobryn struck out five in a shutout six-inning win in game one. Brooklyn Ostrowski hit three home runs in game two, becoming just the second player in Villanova history and first since 1977 to do so. They’ll play at Delaware tomorrow at 5 p.m.

🔼 ‘Cats > Dogs. Villanova baseball took two of three at Butler while making history. The weekend began with a 13-1 win as Luke McCollough struck out a career-high nine batters. They fell 7-0 on Saturday, but turned around to make history on Sunday. The Wildcats defeated the Bulldogs 21-2, the largest margin of victory since 2009 and the most runs scored by Wildcats since 2015.

🔼 We’re Back. The water polo team clinched a spot in the MAAC Championship for the first time since 2016! They’ll hold the No. 3 seed in the Red Division. Riley Hull scored 11 goals across the weekend, setting the program record for goals scored in a season by a freshman. The Wildcats picked up a win over VMI to clinch their spot.

🔼  Tip Of The Cap. The women’s lacrosse team defeated Xavier 18-9 to improve to 4-1 in BIG EAST play. Sydney Pappas scored four goals. Elena Torres and Bella Piselli recorded hat tricks with three goals each. They’ll remain on the road to play at Richmond on Saturday.

🔼 Only Getting Faster. The Wildcat rowing squad won the 2V4 Petite Final at The Knecht Cup! All three Villanova boats made major improvements on their times at the two-day event as they each shaved at least 17 seconds off their day one times. The V4 finished sixth in its Petite Final and V8 boats finished sixth in the Grand Final.
