🔼  Let’s March Nova! The Men’s BIG EAST Tournament kicks off next week, and there is a full slate of events planned for Villanovans in New York City. Kick off the week with a Welcome Lunch at the Men's BIG EAST Tournament: A Conversation on College Athletics. Eric Roedl '97, Vice President and Director of Athletics, and Randy Foye '06, President, Friends of Nova, will discuss the changing landscape of college sports and how Villanova is navigating its future. Dana O'Neil, Senior Associate Athletics Director for Brand & Strategic Communication, will moderate the discussion. For full event details, visit villanova.edu/LetsMarchNova.

🔼  Dynamic Duo. Two Wildcat women’s basketball players earned BIG EAST honors! Jasmine Bascoe was named first-team All-BIG EAST and All-Freshman. She becomes the second Wildcat to earn first-team honors as a freshman. Maddie Webber earned a spot on the second team. The Wildcats have the five-seed at the BIG EAST Tournament and will play four-seed Marquette tomorrow at 2:30 p.m.

You can welcome the team at the BIG EAST Tournament Welcome Reception tomorrow at noon at the Mohegan Sun!

🔼  Jordan Numbers. Villanova swimming and diving placed 23 athletes on All-BIG EAST teams after their performances at the conference championships! The women’s team led the conference with 14 honorees, while the men were third overall with nine.

🔼 On The Attack. Water polo attacker Layla Canales was named the MAAC Freshman of the Week! She scored 13 goals and added four assists on the West Coast last week. The 23rd-ranked Wildcats will host Salem at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow. It’s Alumni Day and the Wildcats are hosting a team and alumni lunch before the game. Afterward, they’ll play the alumni game.

🔼 Home, Sweet Home. Villanova softball is home this weekend to host one of their most common opponents, UConn. The last time the two met was in the 2024 BIG EAST semifinal, which favored the Wildcats. They’ll get things started at 3 p.m. today and continue tomorrow and Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games will stream on FloCollege.

🔼  Tame The Bulls. The baseball team is playing a three-game series at South Florida this weekend! The former BIG EAST foes haven’t met since 2017 and both teams enter the weekend at 6-5. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. today, while tomorrow and Sunday’s games will start at 2 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively. All three games will stream on ESPN+.
