🔼 Dragon Slayers. Rivalry matchups always bring a different level of intensity.

It was no different on Tuesday afternoon as a back-and-forth affair went the way of the Wildcats as Villanova men's lacrosse picked up an 11-10 victory over Drexel at Vidas Field.

Kessy Cox contributed his top performance as a collegian with three goals and an assist for Villanova while Luke Raymond pitched in a hat trick. Colin Michener totaled two goals, David Link put forth a goal and assist.

Jake Melchionni hoovered up five ground balls in addition to multiple caused turnovers, Ryan Cunningham tied a season-high with eight faceoff win.

A win tonight at DePaul would give the Villanova men’s hoops team its eighth road BIG EAST win of the season.

🔼 And Another One. The awards keep piling up for the Villanova men’s lacrosse squad.

For the fourth straight week, multiple Wildcats picked up weekly honors from the BIG EAST Conference as Jake Melchionni repeated as the Specialist of the Week while Luke Raymond picked up his second weekly honor roll of the year.

🔼 Accolades Aplenty. With a successful weekend on the docket for several Villanova squads, there were plenty of accolades rolling in for the ‘Cats.

🔼 Shining Bright. The Villanova women’s tennis kicked off their week in the Sunshine State with a sweep of Saginaw Valley State on Tuesday afternoon.

With the 4-0 victory, the ‘Cats have now won five of their past six matches with BIG EAST play just a few weeks away.
