🔼 Heating Up. The red hot Villanova baseball continued its torrid streak with an explosive 9-8 midweek win over Hofstra.

With the victory, the ‘Cats have now won seven of their past nine games.

Over the past four games, Villanova’s offense has scored 39 runs and pounded out 46 hits.

🔼 Chart Climbers. Winners of four of the past five, the Villanova women’s water polo team climbed into the top-25.

At 17-8 overall and 4-1 in league play, the ‘Cats earned a #24 national ranking in this week’s CWPA poll.

Villanova heads south to Lexington, Va. for three MAAC matchups on tap this weekend.

🔼 Second Helpings. For the second time during this 2025-26 men’s golf season, senior Matt Zerfass was named the BIG EAST Golfer of the Week.

Zerfass, who also won the accolade in November, tied for the individual title at the Golden Horseshoe earlier this week in Virginia.

🔼 10 Piece. The Villanova women’s tennis team continued its strong play on Thursday, rolling past visiting Rider for its 10th victory of the spring season.

Dating back to the beginning of February, the ‘Cats have now won nine of their past 11 matches.
