🔼 One More Time. The women’s basketball team is back at The Finn for one last time! The Wildcats will host Portland in the WBIT Quarterfinals tomorrow at 7 p.m. Click here to purchase your tickets! Fans in attendance can enjoy $2 concessions. Fans at home can stream the game on ESPN+.

🔼 Give Them Liberty. Wildcat baseball defeated Delaware State 12-0 in a Liberty Bell Classic game! John Freitag and Jake Bollin hit a home run each. The duo drove in nine of Villanova’s 12 runs. The Wildcats have scored 10 runs and hit at least two homers in three straight games.

🔼 Haul Of Honors. The women’s lacrosse team racked up four BIG EAST weekly honors! Elena Torres was named the BIG EAST Attacker of the Week as the leading goal scorer. Goalie Cate Gallagher was named Defensive Player of the Week after her season-high of 12 saves over UConn. Madison Freeman earned Freshman of the Week after scoring and picking up a ground ball on Saturday. Sophie Corretjer landed on the Weekly Honor Roll for her three goals and a ground ball.
The men’s lacrosse team brought in three BIG EAST weekly honors! Denis Fargione was named the Freshman of the Week after saving 19 shots, placing fifth in program history for saves in a single game. Colin Michener made the Weekly Honor Roll after tying his career-high with four goals. Beau Kemler also made the Weekly Honor Roll after a career-high three forced turnovers on St. Patrick’s Day.

🔼 Sunday Thriller. The water polo team defeated rival La Salle in a 14-13 overtime thriller on Sunday! Layla Canales found the back of the net to secure the Villanova win. Ella Mattocks surpassed 100 career goals in 88 games. It was Villanova’s first win over the Explorers since 2023. The Wildcats rank third in the red division of the MAAC.
