🔼 Protect This House. The Villanova baseball team is back at home this afternoon looking to protect its turf when the Pride of Hofstra University roll into town for a 3:35 pm first pitch.

Winners of six of their past eight, the ‘Cats are looking for a third straight win after taking the final two games of their weekend series against UNC Asheville.

🔼 Smarty Cat. For junior Brynn McCurry, the success wasn’t just limited to the court this year for the Villanova women’s basketball squad.

On Tuesday, McCurry was tabbed as a member of the Academic All-District Team, as announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

McCurry's honor brings the program to 12 All-District plaudits since 1980. With her placement, the junior forward now advances to the national ballot for Academic All-America that will be voted on by CSC members.

🔼 Mighty Matt. Senior Matt Zerfass of the Villanova men’s golf team is leaving it all on the course in his final season with the ‘Cats.

On Tuesday, Zerfass fired the best round (67/-4) of his career to climb the leader board and stake claim to his second career victory at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va.

He highlighted the ‘Cats strong showing as a team, finishing second among a strong field.

Today’s the day! Order from your local Jersey Mike's in the Philadelphia area for the 16th Annual Day of Giving and support the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games and the local state Programs attending the games. Every dollar spent today, March 25, goes to the organization!

🔼 Mighty In The Middle. Following two standout performances last week, junior Rose Christie was named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week.

On the week, Christie posted back-to-back hat tricks, two assists and three draw controls for the ‘Cats.

The Brightwaters, New York native leads the Wildcats with 27 points this season and has registered three hat tricks on the year.
