🔼 Saturday Sweepin’. With spring weather poppin’ out over the weekend, the Villanova lacrosse programs decided to do some spring cleaning with a Saturday sweep.
On the men’s side, Luke Raymond’s hat trick led the ‘Cats to a 12-7 road win at Delaware, while it was Elena Torres’ hat trick which led the women to a 15-7 win at Binghamton on Saturday.

🔼 Tourney Time. Finishing with its best regular season since 2022-23, the Villanova women’s basketball team now turns its attention to the 2026 BIG EAST Tournament at Mohegan Sun Arena.
At 16-4, the Wildcats earn the #2 seed and will have a bye into Saturday’s quarterfinals.
Villanova will await the winner of seventh-seeded Providence and 10th-seeded DePaul in a 7 pm tip-off on Peacock.

🔼 Golden Moments. It was a golden weekend for a trio of Wildcats at the 2026 BIG EAST Indoor Track & Field Championships, where Villanova earned a third-place finish on the women’s side and fourth for the men.
Graduate student Maria Deaviz (shot put), junior Malaika Cunningham (high jump) and senior Marco Langon (3000m) all brought home gold for the ‘Cats.
🔼 Blastin’ The Bison. The Villanova softball team brought out the sticks to pick up a pair of wins over Bucknell at the Party at Palmer Invitational, hosted by the University of Virginia, this past weekend.
The ‘Cats picked up a thrilling 8-7 walk-off win over the Bison on Friday, followed by a offensive explosion in a 17-2 win over Bucknell on Saturday.
The 17 runs was the most scored by Villanova since March 17, 2024.
