🔼 Packed House. A sellout crowd at Finneran Pavilion was thrilled as the depth of the Villanova men’s hoops team was on full display en route to a 72-60 victory over visiting Seton Hall on Wednesday night.

Sophomore guard Malachi Palmer led a potent reserve group with a career-best 15 points, along with six rebounds for the ‘Cats. The Wildcats improved to 8-3 in league play thanks to a 25-point effort from the bench.

On the glass, Villanova was dominant, holding a 37-27 advantage on the boards, led by a double-double from Duke Brennan (12 points, 10 rebounds).

🔼 Third Times A Charm. A dominant third quarter propelled the Villanova women’s basketball team to a 67-57 road win at Butler on Wednesday to help the ‘Cats improve to 18-5 overall and 11-3 in league play.

After the two teams battled through a defensive first half, Villanova rolled through the third quarter to grab control of the game and secure the victory.

The trip out west didn’t cool off super sophomore Jasmine Bascoe, who posted a third-straight 20+ point effort with 27 points for the ‘Cats.

🔼 New Additions. The new faces of the Villanova Football program added two more additions this week as Coach Ferrante and staff announced a pair of scholastic players joining the incoming class.

The duo consists of two Mid-Atlantic products, defensive back Josiah Adams (Upper Darby, Pa.) and running back Jonah Glenn (Barnegat, N.J.), who join the 13 announced in December to form a 15-person Wildcat recruiting class.
